ADOT is improving both the northbound and southbound bridges over Granite Creek on State Route 89. This project is located just north of the SR 89/69 Traffic Interchange project and is scheduled for completion in Summer 2010.
Traffic Switched for New Bridge Construction
Both northbound and southbound traffic has been switched to use the southbound SR 89 Bridge over Granite Creek to begin work to replace the northbound SR 89 Granite Creek Bridge. As traffic is detoured, motorists will experience reduced speeds, narrow lanes, and possible delays through the work zone. This traffic configuration will be in effect 24 hours a day until traffic is switched to the newly reconstructed bridge. Please drive slowly and use caution through the Granite Creek Bridges construction zone.
